Kids bike and scooter helmets, built for everyday adventures
Our kids helmets are made in the UK for cycling, scooting and skating. They fit heads from 53 to 56cm, with a dial adjuster that keeps the fit snug as your child grows. Each one has a tough ABS shell, five air vents and a rear loop for clipping on a light, and every helmet meets the CE EN 1078 safety standard.
Helmets that help clean up the seas
The rear loop is woven from recovered ghost fishing net by Bracenet, so every helmet helps take a little more plastic out of the ocean. They're made in the UK, and if you're in the UK you can send the helmet back to us in the box it came in once it's outgrown. We'll recycle it and give you money off the next size up.
Finding the right size
Our kids helmets come in one size, fitting heads from 53 to 56cm, which tends to suit children aged around 4–8. Children's sizes vary, so always measure: go around the widest part of your child's head, about an inch above the eyebrows. Once the helmet is on, turn the dial at the back to fine-tune the fit.

Hvorfor hedder serien Ocean Kids?
Dashels børnehjelme har stropper bagpå lavet af ”spøgelsesnet”. Kasserede fiskenet af plast, som dyr tidligere blev fanget i, bliver indsamlet af havmiljøorganisationen Sea Shepherd. Derefter laver Bracenet nettene om til nyttige ting som stropperne på vores hjelme, hvor du kan klipse en lygte på. Børn bliver begejstrede for at vide, at de har været med til at rense havet ved at vælge denne serie. Nettene til de første hjelme er bjærget fra Østersøen, hvor sæler og delfiner svømmer. Når det er tid til næste størrelse, genanvender vi hjelmen. Red havet – bær et net!
