Our kids helmets are made in the UK for cycling, scooting and skating. They fit heads from 53 to 56cm, with a dial adjuster that keeps the fit snug as your child grows. Each one has a tough ABS shell, five air vents and a rear loop for clipping on a light, and every helmet meets the CE EN 1078 safety standard.
Helmets that help clean up the seas
The rear loop is woven from recovered ghost fishing net by Bracenet, so every helmet helps take a little more plastic out of the ocean. They're made in the UK, and if you're in the UK you can send the helmet back to us in the box it came in once it's outgrown. We'll recycle it and give you money off the next size up.
Finding the right size
Our kids helmets come in one size, fitting heads from 53 to 56cm, which tends to suit children aged around 4–8. Children's sizes vary, so always measure: go around the widest part of your child's head, about an inch above the eyebrows. Once the helmet is on, turn the dial at the back to fine-tune the fit.

Warum heißt das Ocean Kids?
Die Kinderhelme von Dashel haben hinten Schlaufen aus „Geisternetzen“. Weggeworfene Plastikfischernetze, in denen einst Wildtiere gefangen waren, werden von der Meeresschutzorganisation Sea Shepherd eingesammelt. Anschließend macht Bracenet aus diesen Netzen nützliche Gegenstände, wie zum Beispiel Schlaufen für unsere Helme, an die man Lichter anklemmen kann. Kinder werden begeistert sein, wenn sie wissen, dass sie mit der Wahl dieser Produktreihe dazu beigetragen haben, die Meere zu säubern. Die Netze bei der Markteinführung wurden aus der Ostsee geborgen, wo Robben und Delfine schwimmen. Wenn es Zeit für die nächste Größe ist, werden wir sie recyceln. Rette die Meere, trage ein Netz!
