Why is this called Ocean Kids?

Dashel's kids helmets have loops at the back made from "ghost net". Discarded plastic fishing nets that were once trapping wildlife are collected by ocean conservation charity Sea Shepherd. Then Bracenet turns these nets into useful items, like loops for our helmets that you can clip lights onto. Children will be thrilled to know that they have helped to clean the seas by choosing this range. The batch of nets at launch have been retrieved from The Baltic Sea where seals and dolphins swim. When it is time for the next size up, we will recycle it. Save the Seas, Wear a Net!
